In July of 1991 we took a walk in a small park across the street from my apartment and as we stood leaning against a tree chatting we spotted a huge monarch butterfly with a 8 inch wing span. It came fluttering into the park and Ralph say's I can communicate with that butterfly and he will land on my hand. Would you like to see it? Yes I said with enthusiasm. He walked to within 3 feet of the butterfly and held his hand out and the butterfly flew over to and landed on his hand and sat there for about 8 minutes before departing. I thought a man who can talk to butterflies is my kind of guy. I was enchanted. He had my heart.
